Kynance Cove, Cornwall<\/h2>\n

There\u2019s a reason Kynance Cove is one of Cornwall\u2019s most revered beaches: its white sands, turquoise water and serpentine rocks will trick you into thinking you\u2019re in the Med.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Where to eat: <\/strong>Ann\u2019s Pasties do the best pasties this side of Penzance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Where to stay:<\/strong> for killer views, it\u2019s got to be Atlantic House.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Barafundle Bay, Pembrokeshire<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
\n

Unspoilt and remote, Barafundle Bay in the south-west corner of Wales is regularly voted one of the best in the UK, thanks to its postcard-worthy golden sands and twinkling sea.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Wedged between Littlehampton and Bognor Regis, Climping\u2019s shingle and pebble beach is much quieter than its neighbours, so there will be no wrestling for the perfect place to plonk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Blackpool Sands, Devon<\/h2>\n

With the appearance of golden sand (actually very small pebbles) and shimmering azure waters, you\u2019d be forgiven for thinking you were lying on a beach on the Algarve.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Achmelvich Bay, Scotland<\/h2>\n

Summer brings porpoises off the coast at the gleaming white sand Achmelvich Bay \u2014 it\u2019s also home to Hermit\u2019s Castle, the smallest in Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Where to eat: <\/strong>The Seafood Shack serves the freshest fish in the UK.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Where to stay: <\/strong>let the lapping waves lull you to sleep at the North Coast 500 Pods.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Durdle Door, Dorset<\/h2>\n

While you may not be able to avoid the crowds, Durdle Door\u2019s impressive limestone arch marks the finest beach on the Jurassic Coast \u2014 the waters here are superbly clear, but also superbly cold.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
